Situated some three miles north of Cardigan town centre, high above the shores of Cardigan Bay and the Teifi Estuary, this is a SPECIAL place to play golf.
If you can take your eyes off the surrounding vistas, including the sea views, the Preseli Hills, Bardsey Island and the Lleyn Peninsula in the far distance, you will enjoy a memorable, interesting and testing round of golf.
The course was first established in 1895 and is a mixture of links and parkland, measuring some 6500 yards from the back tees. The often breezy conditions call for varied shotmaking providing a challenge for all golfers - visitors and members alike. Putting also demands close attention on the many undulating greens. A testament to the club’s stature is that it has hosted Golf Union of Wales Championships as well as International matches.
Excellent drainage and a relatively mild climate ensures that the course is playable throughout the year off regular tees and greens. Some say that Cardigan is at its very best through the Autumn and Winter months.
If you haven't played here yet, a warm welcome awaits, and you won’t be disappointed.
